UL Series

The UL Series defines a new generation of speaker stands, conceived to replace the highly regarded NS Series and further develop Solidsteel’s approach to mechanical control and acoustic performance.

Conceived as a sophisticated decoupling system between loudspeaker and floor, every element of the UL Series contributes to a robust and highly effective solution for static stability and dynamic vibration control. At the core of the new range are two rectangular aluminium profiles mounted on a precision engineered steel base plate and topped with two hollow TPU frames. Working in synergy with the MDF top plate, this architecture has been carefully designed to improve the interaction between loudspeaker and stand.

This solution also achieves effective decoupling between the vertical frame and the base section. The upper and lower plates are mechanically coupled through a slim and lightweight structure, specifically optimized to ensure a rapid decay of the system’s own vibration modes and a particularly fast response to mechanical transients. This controlled mechanical behavior helps reduce unwanted vibrations, preserves clarity, focus and tonal balance during listening and contributes to a more neutral low-frequency reproduction.

With the UL Series, the speaker stand is no longer conceived as a simple accessory, but as a sort of active component within the listening path, directly contributing to the overall performance of the audio system. The UL Series is supplied as standard with a 16 × 16 cm top plate, while an optional 20 × 20 cm version will also be available to accommodate a wider range of loudspeakers and installation requirements. The range will be offered in two height options: UL-4 and UL-6 (approximately 40 cm and 60 cm).
